Michael Phillips, Trial attorney

It was Clarence Darrow that said, “Real lawyers are trial lawyers, and trial lawyers try cases to juries!”. If you or a family member has been arrested, you need a lawyer that has real experience in the courtroom.

I have that courtroom experience. After attending law school at the University of Santa Clara, I had the honor to serve a judicial clerkship for a trial judge. It was during this time, that I became hooked, if you will, on being in the courtroom. Since then, I have tried over 100 jury trials to verdict and countless court trials and pretrial motions. I passionately believe the Constitution’s guarantee to the right of trial by jury is one of our most important rights we have as citizens.
